Google Drive
Pick Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and uploaded files from Drive, sync them into the knowledge base and keep them current.
Connect Google Drive to keep Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and the PDF, Word and text files you store there in the knowledge base, refreshed once a day. You pick the files yourself in Google's file picker, so PepoChat never sees anything you did not choose. A connection counts as one knowledge source however many files it holds.

If the Google Drive card reads Not available yet, the connector is not switched on for your deployment yet; availability may be rolling out. Everything else on the Connected apps tab works as described here once the card shows Connect Google Drive.
Connect and choose files
Open Knowledge Base, click Add New and choose Connected apps
It is the last tab of the dialog. Click Connect Google Drive.
Allow access on Google's screen
Google asks for permission to access only the specific Drive files you use with the app; there is no request to read your whole Drive. Click Allow. You land back on the Knowledge Base with the toast "Google Drive connected! Open Add New → Connected apps and choose the files to sync." A Google Drive · <your Google email> row appears above the table; its Sync now button stays disabled until you pick files.
Pick files
Open Add New → Connected apps again and click Choose files on the Google Drive card. Google's picker opens; select as many files as you like. Folders are shown but cannot be picked, so open a folder and select the files inside it. Click Select: the toast reads "Added 5 files — syncing in the background (5 of 500 files)" and the imports panel shows the sync.
Add more later
Click Choose files again whenever you like. New picks are added to the earlier ones and only the new files are fetched.
What is synced and how

Each synced file is a row in the Knowledge Base table with a GDRIVE badge, the file's name, its size and a link that opens the file in Drive. The category is "Google Drive".
Keeping it in sync
- Automatically, once a day. Only files whose modification time changed since the previous sync are fetched again; unchanged text is never re-indexed. A file you move to the trash in Drive, or that is no longer shared with you, disappears from the knowledge base at the next sync.
- Sync now, on the connection row or on the card, runs the same check immediately.
- One import runs at a time per workspace, shared with website crawls; a pick made while another import runs is synced as soon as that import finishes.
- Up to 500 files per connection. A pick that would go past it is refused: "Up to 500 files per connection can be synced — this pick would make 512. Disconnect and reconnect to start over with fewer files."
- There is no unpick button. To remove one file for good, trash or unshare it in Drive; to start over, Disconnect and connect again with fewer files. Deleting a file's row from the Knowledge Base table removes it only until the next sync.
Connection statuses

| Sync failed | The last run failed; the row shows a short reason. Fix the cause and click Sync now. |
| Access revoked | Google no longer accepts the connection, for example after you removed the app under your Google account's third-party access. Click Reconnect; your picks are kept. |
If Google's consent screen comes back without the Drive permission ticked, you see "Google didn't grant Drive access — tick the Google Drive permission on the consent screen and try again."
Limits
- One connection is one knowledge source. On the Free plan's five-source limit, connecting when the limit is reached ends with "Your plan's knowledge-source limit is reached — delete a source or upgrade, then connect again."
- The synced text counts toward your plan's knowledge-base text cap. See Manage sources.
Disconnect
Open Add New → Connected apps, click Disconnect on the Google Drive card and confirm. The connection and every file it synced are removed from the knowledge base immediately, and PepoChat asks Google to revoke its access to the account.
